Montenegro office to be opened Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) 

The Government of Montenegro announced today that the American-Montenegrin Business Council would open its office in Montenegro, as a centre for cooperation with the entire region.

The Office will focus on the economic development, trade, investments and higher education, it was said after the meeting of the representatives of the US federal state of Maryland and the Montenegrin Minister of Economic Development Branimir Gvozdenovic.

The Director for International Trade and Investments of Maryland, Robert Walker, said he was satisfied with the fact that the cooperation with Montenegro was raised to a higher level.

Apart from our Paris office, the Office in Montenegro is the only representative office of Maryland in Europe, it is added in the press release.

“In this way, the state of Maryland showed its great interest in the implementation of joint projects in Montenegro and the region, and its confidence that this is the right step towards the establishment of relations with the western Balkans,” Walker said.
